1. To Apply for Energy Efficiency Fund, the applicant has to contact the Home Energy Scotland 0808 808 2282
2. The applicant has to contact the respective officer.
3. The respective officer will ask some question.
4. Complete the talk over with the concerned officer.
5. Once the applicant has spoken to an advisor and he/she is ready to proceed, the officer will send the applicant a personalised link to complete an online application form.
6. The applicant can only apply for funding using the application form provided to him/her by Home Energy Scotland.
7. Also attach the necessary documents which is mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
9. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
10. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
11. For further process, the applicant has to follow the instruction given by the officer.
12. If the application is successful, the applicant will receive notification of the funding approval. Alternatively, if the application is unsuccessful, he/she may receive feedback on why it was not accepted.
13. In either case, consider the feedback provided to improve future applications or explore alternative funding options.
14. This entire process can be completed within 10 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
