Apply via Agent
Apply In-Person:
- To apply for Pesticide Service Registration in person, the applicant has to visit the nearest Agriculture Regional Office of Saskatchewan.
- Address and contact details of the offices can be found using the Service office finder in the link below Contact link
- Visit the office and obtain an application form for Pesticides Service Registration from the relevant department. Or click here to download Application form
- Make sure that all the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page are available.
- Complete the application as per convenience, attest it with signature and attach the required documents with the application form.
- Then, submit the application package to the relevant authority at the office. The applicant has to pay 100 dollars as annual fee for the license, through money order or cheque.
- Upon receipt of the application and all the required information, the Department will proceed to review and assess the submitted information.
- Within 15 business days, on completion of the review, the office will send the License document to the applicant mailing address.
Apply through mail
- To apply for Pesticide Service Registration through mail, the applicant has to forward a paper application to the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture.
- Mailing Address of the office is as follows: Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture, Crops and Irrigation Branch, Room 125, 3085, Albert Street, Regina, SK S4S 0B1.

- Make sure that all the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page are available.
- Complete the application as per convenience, attest it with signature and attach the required documents with the application form.
- Then, send the application and documents to the above mentioned mail address, through a safe and secure mail service.
- The applicant has to pay 100 dollars as annual fee for the license, through money order or cheque.
- Upon receipt of the application and all the required information, the Department will proceed to review and assess the submitted information.
- Within 15 business days, on completion of the review, the office will send the License document to the applicant mailing address.
Apply through email
- To apply for Pesticide Service Registration through email, the applicant has to send an application to the email address of the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture.

- Make sure that all the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page are available.
- Complete the application as per convenience, attest it with signature. Make scanned copies of the application and other documents.
- Then, send the application package to the above mentioned email address. The applicant has to pay 100 dollars as annual fee for the license, through credit card.
- Upon receipt of the application and all the required information, the Department will proceed to review and assess the submitted information.
- Within 15 business days, on completion of the review, the office will send the License document to the applicant mailing address.

Eligibility
- Any Company or Corporation that is registered in Saskatchewan and intends to apply or use pesticides can apply.
Fees
- The applicant has to pay 100 dollars as annual fee for the license, through money order or cheque or credit card.
Validity
- The term of the licence is one year from November 1 to October 31 each year.

- The applicants should complete the application form with all mandatory details provided with absolute legibility.
- The applicants are advised to attach all the required documents without any insufficiency, to avoid rejections and delay in processing.

- Operating name of the company
- Physical and mailing address
- Pesticide Storage address
- Legal land description and/or Block Plan number
- Details of the Authorized Representative
- Details of the Chief Executive Officer/Owner
- Contact person details (for 24-hour Emergency Contact)
- Details of Certified Pesticide Dispensers
Need for the Document
- All businesses operating within the Province of Saskatchewan require a registration issued by the Government to use or apply pesticides, according to the Pesticide Regulations.
