Apply In-Person

1. Visit the bank to pay the permit application fee and obtain the payment slip.
2. Write an application letter requesting the buying and selling license of the mineral/s and attach all the supporting documents to it.
3. Visit the Ministry Of Trade and Industry office to submit the complete application at the Domestic Trade Unit.
4. The Trade officer will receive your application and assess it and forward it to the director of domestic trade for approval.
5. If the application meet the standard requirements, it will be approved and you will be issued a mineral buying and selling permit.

Each registered mining exploiter and holder of a mineral trading post shall submit monthly reports including the following details:

• Weight, quality and value of the minerals processed, purchased and sold
• Addresses of suppliers and consignees of his mineral purchases and sales
• Challenges and provide proposals of solution to address them.

• This permit is issued to licenced traders of minerals to validated that they are allowed to purchase and sell minerals
