Apply In-Person

1. Visit the National Agricultural Export Development Board (NAEB) office in you region to obtain the application form for export license or download it form the link provide in “documents to use” section below.
2. Write an application letter addressed to the chief executive officer requesting the export license and prepare all the supporting documents
3. Attach all the documents in a single file and go to the NAEB office to submit the complete application at the reception
4. The NAEB receptionist will verify your application if it is correct, will forward it to the marketing officer for assessment and approval
5. Once approved, the officer will call you to arrange an appointment for the warehouse inspection.
6. On the inspection date, an official inspector will conduct an inspection in the warehouse mainly focusing on the infrastructure and if it meets the standard requirements.
7. Upon a successful inspection, the inspecting officer will issue an account number for you to deposit the recommended application fee of $100
8. Visit the bank and pay the application fee and obtain the coffee export license fee payment receipt
9. After a successful site visit, the marketing officer prepares the export license and gets it signed.
10. Visit the NEAB office Coffee Production Division and provide the proof of payment of the application fee to collect the license
