Following are the different types of Certificate of Origin available:

1. Simplified Certificate
2. List of Common goods traded across the borders
3. Ordinary Certificate of Origin

Simplified Certificate
This certificate is given from the Boarders to the traders that have imported goods which fulfills the requirements of originating from EAC ountries and not exceeding the value of ($500).

List of Common goods traded across the borders
These goods must be appearing on the list of goods agreed upon among-est East African Countries.

Ordinary Certificate of Origin
This kind of certificate is given by the responsible institutions in their home countries and this type of certificate is given to traders with all values of goods and these these goods must be originating from EAC.

A list which displays the kind of information which is required to complete the procedure.
e.g.
1. Date of Birth.
2. City or County of Birth.

This procedure provides you information about how to obtain a Certificate of Origin in Rwanda for goods that are being exported from Rwanda.
