• Fill the application form with complete information.
• Submit the application form along with the necessary documents.
  • For under 12 years of age applicants, the documents shall be submitted by the parent(s), legal guardian, or authorized person.
  • For 12 years and above applicants, the application must be submitted personally.
• The applicant shall then take digital impressions and facial image. (children under 12 years are exempted from the provision of digital impressions)
• Pay the applicable fee.

For applicants under 14 years of age:

• the minor's birth certificate(original)
• original proof of identity of the parent(s), legal representative or, the authorized person
• original proof of payment of fees for issuing passport
• where applicable, proxy statement or agreement of the other parent in the original child custody judgment, which became final and irrevocable judgment by the court substituted the consent of the other parent, final and irrevocable or, for requests from the surviving parent or person authorized by him, the death certificate of the other parent in the original
• documents issued by the institution that organizes the competition studies or documents issued or approved by the Romanian administrative authority competent in the field or, where appropriate, documents issued or certified by a medical authority Romanian
• previous passport of the minor, if any.

For applicants who have reached the age of 14 years:

• original birth certificate
• original identity card or temporary identity card of the minor. Temporary identity card and identity card model (without surname of the parents)
• agreed statements of parent(s) or legal representative (for married minors under the law, these statements are not necessary)
• original proof of payment of fees for issuing passport
• previous passport of the minor, in original, if any.

• For under 12 years of age, the validity of the passport is 3 years
• For those aged over 12 years, the validity of the passport is 5 years
