Rajasthan - Apply for Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)


Procedure

  • The “Rajasthan Eligibility Examination For Teacher ( REET ) / Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET)” is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE) to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in government or private schools.
  • There will be an official notification release by the respective board for REET / RTET. On the issue of notification, the deserving candidates shall apply to register for the REET / RTET.


Apply Online

  1. The candidate shall use the following link to reach the respective portal to apply online Link
  2. In the given home page, please click on the “Generate Challan for Examination Fee” option to reach the “INSTRUCTIONS & FAQ” page.
  3. Please click on the “FORM FOR LEVEL – 1” or “FORM FOR LEVEL – 2” or “FORM FOR LEVEL BOTH (LEVEL-I & LEVEL-II)” option as applicable to get a pop-up. Please click on the “OK” button to reach the page to process the challan.
  4. Please complete the given prompt as applicable. Please select “ONLINE” or “OFFLINE” from the dropdown list against “PAYMENT METHOD”.
  5. If “OFFLINE” is selected, then select “E-MITRA” option from the drop down list against “OFFLINE BANKS OPTIONS” at the bottom and then provide the prompted details as appropriate. Please click on the “SUBMIT & PAY” button to get a challan page with challan number.
  6. Please take a print of the challan using the “Print” button. Fill the required details as applicable and then pay the fee at the bank as appropriate.
  7. If the option selected is “ONLINE” from the dropdown list against “PAYMENT METHOD”, then select the bank name from the dropdown list against “ONLINE BANKS OPTIONS” at the bottom and then provide the prompted details as appropriate. Please click on the “SUBMIT & PAY” button to get a challan page with challan number.
  8. Please take a print of the challan using the “Print” button.
  9. Please click on the “Pay Fee” button to get a pop-up. Please click on the “OK” button to the payment gateway page.
  10. Please process the online payment page as appropriate to complete the challan payment.
  11. Once the challan is ready, please visit the home page and click on the “Fill Application Form” option to reach the “APPLICATION FORM” page.
  12. Please enter the challan number at the prompted space and process the other details as per prompt and then click on the “NEXT” button to reach the online application form page.
  13. Please complete the prompts for personal information section as appropriate. Also, please complete the page prompts for the “FULL ADDRESS FOR CORRESPONDENCE”, “PREVIOUS REET DETAILS (IF ANY)” and “PHOTOS, SIGNATURE & DOCUMENTS” section one by one as appropriate. Upload the required documents as applicable and then click on the “SUBMIT & SAVE” button to reach the “APPLICATION FORM PREVIEW” page.
  14. Please use the “Print/Download” button to save for future use.
  15. This application will be processed by the respective department. Once the department approves the application, the applicant will get intimation and the admit card will be provided as per applicable norms.

Eligibility

  • The candidate should be the citizen of India.
  • The age limit for the candidates is 18 Years to 40 Years.
  • For those who belong to SC, ST, and OBC, age relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 Years.
  • Candidates should be class 12 passed or a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
  • Candidates should have obtained a Diploma in Education or Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or completed any other prescribed teacher training programme/course.




Fees

  • Fee for “LEVEL – 1” / “LEVEL – 2” – Rs.550/.
  • Fee for “LEVEL – 1” & “LEVEL – 2” – Rs.750/.




Validity

  • The approved application is valid for the period (year) for which the examination is notified.

  • The applicants are advised to select the examination centre correctly while applying online.
  • Please keep the scanned documents ready for applying online.
  • Do not submit invalid certificates.
  • Make sure to mention the correct school/college/Institution name while filing online application.
  • Incomplete application will be rejected.
  • Do not submit fake documents as a proof.
  • Avoid spelling mistakes while filling the application form.
