Apply By Mail

1. To Immigrate with a start-up visa, the applicant will need to approach Immigration and Citizenship Canada. Here is the contact Link
2. The applicant will need to fill out an application package. Here is the link to download the application form Link
3. Fill out the application form with all the relevant details and click on the “Validate” button to ensure that all the fields have been filled out.
4. Once the applicant clicks on the validate button a bar code will appear.
5. The applicant will need to print all the pages of the application form including the barcode page.
6. The applicant will also need to submit additional documents. Find a list of documents under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. The applicant will also need to submit their biometric information. Find further information here Link
8. The applicant will need to pay fees. Find further information under the “Fees” section of this page.
9. Attach a copy of the fee payment receipt to the application form.
10. The applicant will need to sign their application and all other forms and attach a fee payment receipt to the application form.
11. The applicant will need to mail the package to the address mentioned under the “Office Locations and Contacts” section of this page. The letter format can be found under the “Information that might help” section of this page”.
12. Once submitted, the application will be forwarded to the relevant authorities, and if any additional information is needed the application will be mailed back to the applicant.
13. The applicant shall receive their visa within 41 months from the submission of the application.
