Apply In-Person:

1. To transport deceased person, applicant has to visit the nearest Qatari mission abroad at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office.

3. Applicant has to visit the nearest Qatari mission abroad to make report the person’s death.
4. Qatari mission abroad takes the required action to transport the body to Qatar, and the original passport and authorized death-related documents are to be attached.
5. After that, the Consular Affairs Department is then informed about the arrival time of the body in advance in order to coordinate with the airport.
6. Qatari mission abroad sends the documents of the deceased by diplomatic pouch which including the copy of passport, copy of death certificate and copy of death report (and any other documents).

• Qatari mission abroad supports the family of the deceased to transport the person’s body home after completing all the required procedures.

• Name of the applicant.
• Passport number.
• Death certificate number.

• To transport deceased person body for inside and outside the Qatar.

• The Ministry has the authority to abandon the candidate or take any official action against forgery or manipulation of data by the applicant.
