• To apply for a Tourist visa, you will need to contact your local Qatari embassy (see contact info below).
• Embassy workers and other authorized persons may apply online for tourist visas on behalf of the applicant through Hukoomi.
• To apply online:
  • Visit Ministry of Interior website - Link
  • Choose visa type and nationality.
  • Fill out the required information such as: name, date and place of birth and passport data.
  • Check the information you have provided and press "Confirm " to proceed.
• Submit your application together with these following documents:
  • Clear copy of the visitor's passport.
  • Original hotel registration document and ID of the applicant (for sponsor verification to the forms submitted through hotels).
  • Copy of a document that proves the relationship, such as birth certificate or any other official document (for forms submitted through Qatar Airways).

The Tourist Visa is valid for one month and non-extendable.

The Consular Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs receive visa applications from various Qatari embassies and consulates for various cases, especially those that the e-Visa System existing in the missions do not process. Then, the Department secures approvals for the issuance of such visas.

Application for a Tourist Visa can also be processed by an authorized hotel operating in Qatar or sponsoring resident with relationship to the applicant through Qatar Airways.
