Apply In-Person

1. You should visit the Pubic Prosecution headquarters office to request the lift of the travel ban in person, you can view the location map of the pubic prosecution through the link provided in “Office Locations & Contacts” section below
2. At the reception, obtain the request application form from the attending officer
3. Fill the application form correctly and attach any required documents to the form
4. Submit the complete application to the public prosecution for processing
5. The public prosecution officer will process your application and lift the travel form their internal system

Apply Online

1. Login to the e-service portal of the public prosecution using the Tawtheeq account through this link: Link
2. Use your smart card to login or key in your username and password to login if you already have an account and if you don’t have an account, click on “Create new account” to register.
3. In the registration page, choose to register as “Qatari citizens and residents” or “Visitors and business representatives” under account type and clink on “Continue” to go to the personal information page
4. Fill the all the required information and proceed to the password page enter a strong matching password and press “Continue” to complete the registration.
5. Go to your email account as instructed and authenticate your account then Login
6. Once logged in, view the “Services” menu and click on “Requests for Prevention from Leaving the Country” option then click on “Request for Lifting Travel Ban” option.
7. Choose your case by entering its details and then click on “Search” button.
8. Upon finding the case, fill in the case information then click on “Send” button to submit your application
9. You will receive an SMS message confirming the request receipt upon successful submission
