Qatar - Request Permit for Building Additions


Procedure

Apply In-Person:

  1. To request permit for building additions, applicant has to visit the technical affairs department at Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

  3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form.
  4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
  6. Check the application form and then submit it to the development and building permits section of the technical affairs department in the MME office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
  7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
  8. After verification process, permit for building additions will be issued.




Required Documents

  • Facsimiles of title deed and property document.
  • Copy of Qatar ID card (For individuals).
  • Copy of commercial registration (For companies).
  • No objection letter from the owner.
