• Citizens and residents wishing to get an educational certificate attested may submit a request to the Attestation and Equivalency Section at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) or any of the government services centres.
• This means getting the approval and legalization of MOEHE on the live signature and seal of a school inside Qatar only, in preparation for using the certificate inside or outside Qatar.
  
  

Apply In-Person

1. Citizens and residents who wish to get an educational certificate attested can do this by submitting a request to the Attestation and Equivalency Section at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) or any of the government services centres.
2. If visiting the Attestation and Equivalency Section at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), make your visit from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. The contact details of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) can be found through the following link

   OR

   • If you are planning in visiting the Governmental Services Centers in Musaimeer, Alwakra,Um Selal, Alzubara , make your visit in one of the following two shifts:

   (i) Morning shift from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm.

   (ii)Evening shift from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm (Except Alzubara).

3. Submit the documents requiring attestation to the Attestation and Equivalency Section for legalization/authentication.
4. Present the required document as applicable to the commission’s officials. These documents include.

   • Original identification documents of the owner of the certificates to be authenticated.

5. The officials will go through your documents to determine if everything is in order and you will be asked to make the payment for the attestation.

   • Make the payment as per the advice of the officials. A Debit/Credit Card is used for payment. Cash payment is not allowed.

6. After payment of the fees, the authentication processes will begin.
7. If everything is in order, the documents will be authenticated immediately and issued back to you.

Online Portal for Equivalency of Certificates and Prior Approval

• Individuals who have education certificates from schools inside Qatar are eligible to make the application for attestation of the educational certificate.

• Pay as per the advice of the officials.

• The attestation is valid forever.
