1. To renew registration in local engineering consulting offices, applicant has to visit the Engineers and Engineering Offices Accrediting and Classifying Committee at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the engineers and engineering offices accrediting and classifying committee in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, registration in local engineering consulting offices will be renewed.

• Copy of valid Qatari ID card of offices owner who should be a Qatari citizen.
• Copy of office enrolment certificate, documentation and office card.
• A letter from the Ministry of Development, Labour and Social Affairs stating that the owner or partners do not work at any governmental bodies or ministries or at any public entities.
• Copy of owner’s commercial license issued by Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
• Copy of office commercial license issued by Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
• Original copy of office establishment contract authentic by competent authorities, with minimum Qatari shareholders partners of 51%.
• Copy of commercial registration issued by Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
• Copy of all partners ID card and for non-Qatari partners a valid enrolment certificate at engineers register.
• Copy of office enrolment certificate, documentation and office card.
• Copy of all office’s engineers enrolment certificates, of at least three permanent engineers (in charge engineer is excluded), where the non-Qatari engineers are classified at least at first category.
• List of all working engineers and valid residency, defining specialties, enrolment number, category, enrolment expiration date and sponsor.
• Qatari insurance policy concerning office activity’s liability with a value not less than the following: 500,000 Qrs for third category, one million Qrs for second category, two million Qrs for second category.
• Copy of title deed or offices valid lease contract certified by municipality, defining precise office location, address and direction map, office sketch stamped by the office. Office space shouldn’t be less than: (90msq for third category, 120msq for second category, 200msq for third category).

• Applicant who is having the certificate of registration as alocal engineering consulting offices can apply for renewal.
• Applicant who have valid Qatar ID card are eligible to apply.
• Applicant who have office enrolment certificate, documentation and office card are eligible to apply.
• Applicant has to renew the license one month before the expiry period.

• Applicable fees are as follows:
  • First category: QR10,000.
  • Second category: QR8,000.
  • Third category: QR6,000.

• Applicant shall submit a request to the engineers and engineering offices accrediting and classifying committee in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) to renew registration in local engineering consulting offices.

• Name of the applicant.
• Address.
• Phone number.
• Email ID.
• Qatar ID card.

• The Ministry has the authority to abandon the candidate or take any official action against forgery or manipulation of data by the applicant.
