Apply In-Person

1. To renew gas card, applicant has to visit the Civil Defense Department at the ministry of interior (MOI) office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the General Directorate of Civil Defense Department in Ministry of Interior(MOI) office. The address mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification, applicant shall receive the renewed gas card.

• In the “Metrash2” mobile Application, one who has Qatar ID can easily login and enter into the application to make use of the services provided.

• Workers or drivers who transport gas, fuel or other highly flammable goods are required to carry a gas card.

• Applicant has to renew the gas card one month before the expiry period.
