Apply In-Person:

1. To redeem abandoned vehicles, applicant has to visit the mechanical equipment department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective officer at MME office.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the mechanical equipment department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, abandoned vehicles will be redeemed.

• Copy of Qatar ID card of vehicle owner.
• Vehicle registration documents (vehicle license or certificate from Traffic Department)
• Official authorization letter from vehicle owner (in case of representatives or companies’ vehicles).
• Copy of Qatar ID card of person receiving the vehicle (in case of representatives or companies’ vehicles).
• Copy of establishment ID (in case of company-owned vehicle).

• Individuals who have valid Qatar ID card are eligible to apply.

• Applicable towing fees are as follows:
  • QR500 for saloon vehicles.
  • QR800 for heavy vehicles.
  • QR2,000 for heavy duty equipment.

• Applicant shall submit a request to the mechanical equipment department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) to redeem abandoned vehicles.

• Name of the applicant.
• Address.
• Phone number.
• Email ID.
• Qatar ID card.
• Establishment ID card number.

• The Ministry has the authority to abandon the candidate or take any official action against forgery or manipulation of data by the applicant.
