1. To operator a foreign company branch in Qatar, applicant has to visit the Company’s Control department at the MOCI office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information andmake sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the companies control department in MOCI office. The address mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, registration of a foreign company to operate in the Qatar state will be approved.
   
   

• Duly filled application form.
• Head office Commercial registration copy.
• Request to license registration of branch of foreign company in the State, accredited by the competent government entity.
• Copy of company’s decision, obtained from its head office, mentioning the opening of a branch in Qatar and the appointment of a branch manager in Qatar.
• Copy of Qatar ID or passport for non-Qataris

• Any foreign organization that have started offering business services in Qatar can apply for registration.

A registration fees QR30,000 applies.

• Local investment companies may submit a request to the Commercial Registration and Licenses Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to register a branch of a foreign company in Qatar.

• Foreign companies cannot do any projects in the Qatar country, without getting commercial registration licence from the MOCI.

The Ministry has the authority to abandon the candidate or take any official action against forgery or manipulation of data by the applicant.
