Apply In-Person:

1. To open new travel or cargo agency, applicant has to visit the department of air transport at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and attach the copy of QID card of the business owner and the lease contract of the office with the completed application form.
5. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the department of air transport in the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
6. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
7. After verification process, the authorities will inspect the site.
8. After the inspection, the applicant shall be given an initial approval valid for three months. During which the applicant shall submit the documents mentioned in the required documents section below.
9. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
10. After verification process, license for new travel or cargo agency will be issued.

• Copy of QID card of the business owner.
• Lease contract of the office.
• Once the initial approval is granted, then attach the following:
  • Copy of commercial registration (after the activity has been added).
  • Copy of commercial license of the office (after the activity has been added).
  • Open-ended bank guarantee of QR 200,000 for Travel Agencies or QR 100,000 for Cargo Office.
  • Office architectural design approved by one of the licensed architectural offices.
  • Insurance policy against accidents covering the office(s) and the warehouse(s) (for Air Cargo Agencies only).

• Business owner shall submit a request to the department of air transport at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to open new travel or cargo agency.

• The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has the authority to abandon the candidate or take any official action against forgery or manipulation of data by the applicant.
