Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain fishing boat license or permit, applicant has to visit the Fishermen Affairs Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the fishermen affairs department in the MME office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification process, the applicant will be later requested to collect the fishing boat license on a specified date.

• Applicant shall submit a request to the fishermen affairs department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) to obtain fishing boat license or permit.

• Name of the applicant.
• Address.
• Phone number.
• Email ID.
• Qatar ID card.

• Boat or ship license is required to sail ships and to collect fishes, lobsters, prawn etc,.
• Boat or ship license is mandatory if the boat or ship acts as a mode of transport.

• The Ministry has the authority to abandon the candidate or take any official action against forgery or manipulation of data by the applicant.
