Apply In-Person:

1. To modify or update a trademark, applicant has to visit the intellectual property protection department at the MOCI office.

3. Applicant has to visit the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) and obtain the application form from the respective officer.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the intellectual property protection department in the MOCI office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, trademark will be updated or modified.

• Copy of Qatari ID card.
• Copy of commercial registration.
• Copy of trademark certified license.
• Four copies of new logo or specimen.

• Applicant shall submit a request to the intellectual property protection department in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to modify or update a trademark.

• Commercial registration number.
• Trademark license registration number.

• To modify or update a trademark information into MOCI database.

• The Ministry has the authority to abandon the candidate or take any official action against forgery or manipulation of data by the applicant.
