Apply In-Person:

1. To issue or renew quarry operation permit, applicant has to visit the Protection and Wildlife Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

3. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
5. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the protection and wildlifedepartment in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
6. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
7. After verification process, quarry operation permit will be issued or renewed as per your request.

For new quarry operation permit:

• Copy of commercial registration.
• Copy of establishment ID.
• Site design scheme.
• Survey report.
• Comprehensive work plan.
• List of equipment on site.
• Receipt of paid instalments.
• Copy of contract concluded with MME.

For quarry operation permit renewal:

• Periodic survey report for last six months.
• Receipt of paid instalments.

• Applicant shall submit a request to the protection and wildlife department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) to issue or renew quarry operation permit.

• Name of the company.
• Address.
• Phone number.

• Commercial registration number.

• This operation permit is necessary for quarries of limestone, fine sand, clay and gypsum.

• The Ministry has the authority to abandon the candidate or take any official action against forgery or manipulation of data by the applicant.
