1. To entry the special vehicle number for auction, applicant has to visit the general directorate of trafficdepartment at the ministry of interior (MOI) office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in thegeneral directorate of trafficdepartment in Ministry of Interior(MOI) office. The address mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification process, special vehicle number for auction entry is approved.

• In the “Metrash2” mobile Application, one who has Qatar ID can easily login and enter into the application to make use of the services provided.
• Applicant who wants to enter the auction hall shall pay QR500 non-refundable.
• Those who did not follow the mentioned rules and regulation for auction are violated, legal action will be taken by authority and the deposited amount will not be refunded.

Please provide the need for the procedure. e.g. Birth Certificate - why do we need to have a birth certificate? 
 

• The bidder should immediately compensate the value of the number to the ministry of interior either by cheque or through credit card or the person can choose prepaid mode of payment, in compliance with the finance department and ministry of interior.
• If he fails to pay the remaining amount within two working days, he has risk of losing the ownership of the number.
• If any violating the mentioned terms in application form, the ministry of interior rights to take legal action.
