1. To get an approval to establish local engineering consulting offices, applicant has to visit the Engineers and Engineering Offices Accrediting and Classifying Committee at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the engineers and engineering offices accrediting and classifying committee in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, initial approval will be provided to establish local engineering consulting office.

• Applicant Qatar ID card.
• Digital copy of valid ID card.
• Letter addressed to the head of the Engineers and Engineering Offices Accrediting and Classifying Committee requesting initial approval, determining office category and required specialties.
• Letter issued by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs stating that the office/ company owner does not work in any ministry, other government body, public authority or institution.
• Commercial registrations of office owner and partners, issued by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.

• Initial approval is essential to obtain the permits pertaining to the commercial license, the visa department, the recruitment of engineers at the office and completion of office registration procedures.
