Apply Online

1. Individuals can apply for Metrash service online by visiting the Ministry of Interior’s website through the following link.
2. Once you have opened the website’s page click on the MOI Services tab on the dashboard and navigate to the Inquires section then click on it.
3. This will lead you to the next page displaying MOI Services, where you have to click on the Metrash Tab to go the next page
4. Here click on the Metrash for Individuals icon to access the online application form.
5. Fill in the required information for registration. These include:-

   • QID Number
   • Mobile Number
   • Preferred Language
   • The verification code from the picture or audio

6. Confirm that the information you provided is correct, then click on the “Subscribe” button.
7. A confirmation SMS will be sent to the mobile phone number you provided, confirming your registration.
8. The registration process is immediate and free of charge.

Note:

• The total registered individuals under metrash service is 1,928,139
• You can change the number, subscribe and cancel the subscription in this service online using the same procedure

Metrash2 App

• Qatari citizens and residents are eligible to make this application.

• This service and application is free of charge

• The validity is forever.

• The application is done online

• Metrash is one of the main electronic services provided by the Ministry of Interior to the public. Using metrash, residents of Qatar can receive SMS messages on their mobile GSM phones alerting them of important information such as:

1. Traffic violation alert.
2. Resident permit expiry alert.
3. Drivers license expiry alert.
4. Car registration expiry alert.

Terms and Conditions

• Metrash is a free service provided by MOI.
• The service is activated after 24 hours of submitting subscription requests.
• Metrash is an informative service.
• In no event shall the ministry of interior be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential, damages, or any damages whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with the use, inability to use, or delay in receiving of the information available from metrash service.
• In order to maintain the privacy of information, the mobile number requested to receive the SMS messages shall be registered in Mobile Service Provider in the name of the service requester.

• Metrash2 offers the residents of Qatar an easy way to access MOI services through their mobile devices. Services like enquiring about official documents, creating and paying for individual/company exit permits, enquiring about and settling traffic violations, etc. are made available through an easy-to-use user interface.
