Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for certificate of trademark registration aboard, applicant has to visit the Intellectual Property Rights Protection Department at the MOCI office.

3. Applicant has to visit the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) and obtain the application form from the respective officer.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the Intellectual Property Rights Protection Department in the MOCI office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, certificate of trademark registration aboard will be issued.

• Applicant shall submit a request to the Intellectual Property Protection Department in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) to apply for certificate of trademark registration aboard.

• Registration of trademark is used to prevent third parties using your trademark.
• Trademark is used to identify your brands.

• The Ministry has the authority to abandon the candidate or take any official action against forgery or manipulation of data by the applicant.
