Qatar - Apply for Building Permit for Commercial Complex

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for building permit for commercial complex, applicant has to visit the technical affairs department at Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

  3. Obtain the application form from the respective officer at MME office.
  4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
  6. Check the application form and then submit it to the development and building permits section of the technical affairs department in the MME office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
  7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
  8. After verification process, building permit for commercial complex will be issued.




Required Documents

  • Authorization from the landlord to a consulting office registered Consulting Offices Committee.
  • Copy of title deed and property layout certified by the Real Estate Registration Department.
  • Copy of landlord Qatari ID.
  • Engineering plans (architectural and services).
  • Forms and obligations pertaining to the service providers.
