Apply Online - For Current Student

1. Enrolled Student at the Qatar University whose parents are full time employees of the University can apply for the scholarship through myQU portal via thin link: Link
2. Key in your login details to access your account i.e. username and password. If you are unable to login in, contact the IT service support through this contacts: email at helpdesk@qu.edu.qa or via phone at +974 4403-3456
3. Once you are logged, go to “myAcademics” tab, scroll down and from “My Banner Quick Start Menu” channel, open the folder (Home > Student Services) and click on the “Apply for Scholarship” link to be directed to scholarship application page
4. Select the appropriate term for you in the drop box and click on “Submit” button.
5. In the new tab, select Children of QU Staff Scholarship as the scholarship you wish to apply for.
6. Enter your parent job ID and click “Continue” button to complete your application
7. Take the required documents to the Enrolment Service One-Stop section in the University as soon as possible for verification
8. You will receive feedback form the university administration after the evaluation process
   

Apply Online – For New Students

1. To apply for scholarship at the Qatar University under Scholarships for Children of Qatar University Employees , you should first apply for admission through the Admission Application System via this ink: Link
2. Open the link and key in your login details if you have an account or click on “First time user account creation” to create a new account
3. Enter your account user ID and Pin then verify the pin and click on “Login” button to access your account
4. Once you are logged in, click on “New” to create a new application under “My Application” page
5. In the new page, open the drop box “Application type” to select the application you wish to apply for i.e. (first year undergraduate) and then click on “Continue” button to be directed to another page
6. In the “Apply for Admission” page, select the admission term and fill in your names and then click on “Fill Out Application” button to compete the online application process
7. You can click on “Before Starting” read more about your application and then click on “checklist” to return the checklist page
8. Click on “Name Confirmation” to confirm your Names and then click on “Continue” button to go the “Basic personal Information” page and fill the required details as instructed and then click on “Continue” button to go the “Home Address and Mobile” page, provide your address information and mobile number then click on “Continue” button to go the “Legal Status” page. Fill in the required status information and read the instruction then click on “Continue” button.
9. In the “Parents Contact Information” page, provide the required information about your parent and click on “Continue” button to go to the “High school” information page, now provide your high school details as instructed and then click on “Continue” button to proceed to the “Primary College Preference” page, select your preferred faculty and click on “Continue” button to go the “Secondary Preference” section and select your intended course and then continue to the next page.
10. In the “ Additional Information” page provide your parents education details as required and click on “Continue” button to proceed to the “Upload Documents” page, upload the required documents as instructed and once you have uploaded the documents, Click on “Continue” button to go the “Application Declaration” page, confirm and accept the declaration and click on “Continue” button to go the main check list page.
11. Click on “Application is Complete” and fee payment web page will appear. Pay for the admission fee through the online platform using your credit or debit and click on “continue” button.
12. After a successful payment, will receive a notification informing you that you have completed your online admission successfully and you will be directed to a web page with your application details
13. The university will evaluate your application and decide to admit you as a student of the university
14. You will then be notified of the admission and you will receive an email with the link to enable you to apply for your scholarship under Scholarships for Children of Qatar University Employees
    

Note:

1. Newly admitted students once they get admission decision by the university, they will receive an email with a link to be able to apply for a scholarship.
2. You have to apply for scholarships during the advertised dates by the university, which are normally advertised in the university website every year

• Certified Copy of your Birth Certificate (if the mother is the QU employee).
• Letter from Human Resources of Qatar University verifying the employment of your parent(s), mentioning the following points: The employment number, the employment type is Full-time Job and the starting date of this job and the employment category (Academic or non-academic).

• Students whose parents are Qatar University employees. Note that the University offers a maximum of three scholarships to three children of the employee at one time.

• Provided that you don’t break the scholarship condition, the program run will until the end of the state period that is until you graduate.

• You must meet academic scholarships terms and conditions in order to maintain the scholarship
• These Scholarships include exemption from tuition fees only.
