Apply In-Person:

1. To apply funding for wooden ships, applicant has to visit the Fisheries Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office.

4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the fisheries department in the MME office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification process, funding for wooden ships will be provided.

• Copy of QID of ship owner.
• Valid small craft registration certificate (issued by the Ministry of Transport and Communications).
• Copy of fishing permit (in case the ship type is sammak).
• Bank letter, clarifying the IBAN no.

• Ship owners who have ship owner Qatar ID card are eligible to apply.

• No fees are required for this service.

• Applicant shall submit a request to the fisheries department in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) to apply funding for wooden ships.
• If the funding is approved, the ship is added to the list of ships with funding eligibility, in case of ineligibility, the customer is notified about the rejection via SMS.
