1. To Surrender of Employment Exchange Card, the applicant has to approach the DEPARTMENT OF LABOUR, GOVERNMENT OF PUNJAB link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete forms are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit the completed form and the supporting documents to the concerned officer.
7. Concerned authorities will look into the application form and submitted documents before providing the permit.
8. Once the process is completed, the respective authority will contact the applicant.
9. The applicant has to return the card by visiting the office.
10. No need to pay any fee to surrender the employment exchange card.
11. The processing time for this procedure is within a week.

There is no fee for this procedure.

The candidates registered with an Employment Exchange are sponsored to employers for recruitment by vacancies notified or advertised. If the employee got a suitable job can surrender their employment exchange card and that helps them to avoid renewals every year.

Original I-Card issued by the competent authority and the details related to surrender of the Employment Exchange Card needs to be furnished in the space provided in the back side of the card.
