2. “Punjab State Power Corporation Limited” (PSPCL) is the electricity regulation board operating within the state of Punjab.

Tariff:

• There are different amount charged for residential and commercial users. The rate of per unit charge varies with state to state and as per the slab decided by the respective electricity board.

2. In the given page, Enter your Account Number and hit “Submit” to get a popup for notice. Please hit “proceed” to reach next screen after reading the details.
   
3. Here, details pertaining to account number will be displayed. Please hit “Make payment” to go for the payment page.
   
4. Resulting page displays email, mobile number and box to enter amount. Please enter the desired amount and hit the applicable option to reach the payment gateway page.
   
5. In the payment gateway page, please select the type of payment and provide required details at prompted places and hit make payment to reach the successive page.
   
6. User should follow the screen prompt for the payment mode selected to complete online payment transaction.
   
7. Once the payment is accepted, user will get a transaction acknowledgement. Please keep it saved or printed for future reference.

1. NEFT/RTGS

   2. Please enter the Account number in the given space and hit “Get details” to reach the next page
      
   3. Detail of Your electricity account number, Mobile Number and email id will be displayed on your screen, then click on “submit” button (If Mobile number and e-mail address are not already registered, then provide mobile number and email address and then click on “submit” button. After two days, consumer will get a confirmation from PSPCL)
      
   4. Resulting screen displays bill details for the account number provided. If the details are OK, Hit the respective button - print acknowledgement to get requisite details to make RTGS transaction through your bank (i.e. IFSC code & Account Number (for non-SBI account holders) and Power Jyoti Details for SBI account holders )
      
   5. User will be directed to the respective payment gateway option for user to provide appropriate details against the prompt.
      
   6. After completing the screen prompt, please use the respective option to pay online.
      
   7. Once the payment is accepted, user will get a transaction acknowledgement. Please keep it saved or printed for future reference.
      
      

BBPS (Bharath Bill Payment System)

Apply through app

1. To Pay Electricity Bill, the applicant can download any type of payment app like Gpay link, Phonepe link, amazon pay link, Paytm link.
2. The applicant has to download the app by using the link.
3. First the applicant needs to completed the registration process.
4. For registration enter the mobile number and in registered number the applicant gets the OTP number.
5. Enter the OTP code and add on the bank account in the app.
6. For paying electricity bill, the applicant has to search for Punjab Electricity Board.
7. To link the electricity account in the app, the applicant has to enter the consumer number.
8. NOTE: Format of the consumer number – “Regional code, section distribution, and service number.
9. And enter the name (optional), and add the registered mobile number which is given in the electricity board.
10. The applicant gets the monthly payment amount.
11. Now, the applicant has to click the “Pay” button and enter the amount.
12. Enter the UPI password and the payment will be processed.
13. There is no fee for this app.
14. The processing time for this procedure is within a minute.

• The individual should be a resident of the state.
