Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply FSSAI license for Bakery Product, you have to approach the Commissioner of Food Safety / Officer-In-Charge for Food Safety.

3. You can download the application Form-B from the following link: Form B.
4. Please make sure you are eligible to make the application by going through the eligibility criteria provided under the “Eligibility” section of this page.
5. First download the Form-B from the link and fill all the required information and you need to submit the form to the Commissioner of Food safety department. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
6. Please complete the application form and make sure you have all the documents that are listed under “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. Pay the appropriate fees and submit the form to the Officer-In-Charge in the Food Safety department.
8. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
9. Authorities will inspect the facilities that are related to the Bakery Product and if they are satisfied with the standards followed the authorities will provide the franchise Permission.
10. The applicant will be later requested to collect the FSSAI License for Bakery Product on a specified date.

Apply Online:

1. To Apply FSSAI License for Bakery Product through online, you can use the FOSCOS website. Please click the following link : FOSCOS Website
2. Click the “Login-Businesses” tab and Under User sign-in Box enter your Application Ref. No./License No./Certificate No. and Click on the “Proceed” button to login.
3. If you are a new user, then Click on the "Do you want to apply for New License/Registration" and click on the "Apply for License/Registration" tab in the new page.
4. Next select the state from the dropdown list box and read the Note.
5. Next select the type of Business, Now Select the annual turnover of your business. After that Click on the “Proceed” tab.
6. On the next page, Click on the “Click here to apply State License for all Businesses”.
7. Next Form-B page will be displayed, fill all the required informations under premises details section and Click on the “Save & Next” tab.
8. On the Production selection page, Select the category of food you are going to handle by clicking on the drop-down menu “Food Product Category” and click “Save & Add” option and then fill all the details for DGFT Authentication and Click on the “Proceed with DGFT validation” to authenticate the details.
9. Next Click on the “Save” Button to save the authenticated details. After Successfully Proceeding with DGFT validation, Click on the “Save & Next” Button.
10. Next fill all the Communication details and Click on the “Save & Next” Button.
11. Under required documents section upload all the relevant documents and Click on the “Save & Next” Button.
12. Next pay the fees and submit the application.
13. After Successful Completing the payment, a receipt will be generated with a 17-digit reference number make a print of it and keep it safe for future reference.
14. You can track the application through the Home page.
15. This application will be processed by them and they will notify you through your e-mail or by SMS.

Apply through app

1. To Apply FSSAI License for Bakery Product, the applicant shall download the app from play store by clicking on the following link:Link
2. After downloading, the applicant will be able to see the options on the dashboard.
3. Click on the "Apply for New Fssai/Food registration" option.
4. An application form will open up, the applicant shall fill up the form correctly and mention the "nature of business" as required.
5. Now click the "Processed and Pay Securely" tab and proceed.
6. The payment page will open up where you have to pay the requisite "Fee".
7. Upon successful payment, you will receive an acknowledgement which shall be kept safe for future.
8. An executive will prepare your application and issue the certificate.
9. The applicant will receive the certificate via courier or mail.

• Proof of Expected Annual Turnover(self-attested)
• List of Directors with full address and contact details (mandatory for companies only)
• Food Safety Management System plan or certificate (if any)
• Declaration Form
• Photo I.D and address proof issued by Government authority of Proprietor/Partner/Director(s)/Authorised Signatory
• Proof of possession of premises. (Sale deed/ Rent agreement/ Electricity bill, etc.)
• Partnership Deed/Self Declaration for Proprietorship/Memorandum & Articles of Association towards the constitution of the firm
• Form IX: Nomination of Persons by a Company along with the Board Resolution.
