Philippines - Verify TIN (BIR) Number


Procedure

Apply Online

  1. To Verify TIN (BIR) Number, the applicant has to verify their TIN number online via the following link
  2. The applicant has to click “ereg” and click “TIN Query Login”
  3. Next the applicant has to login with their user id and password.
  4. Then the applicant has to enter the particulars and click “Submit”
  5. Wait for the TIN inquiry and validation result.
  6. The entire process completes within a day.


Apply Through App

  1. To Verify TIN (BIR) Number, the applicant has to install BIR TIN verifier app to your mobile device. link
  2. Launch the app and accept the terms and conditions
  3. Click on the TIN verifier button for lost numbers.
  4. Read the disclaimer which states that the app can only be used on working weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm. Other inquiries will be addressed on the next business day.
  5. To check the authenticity of an existing tin, use the TIN validation button.
  6. Provide pertinent personal information. Take a selfie with a valid government ID. Upload this picture along with a close-up photo of the used ID.
  7. Wait for the BIR chat agent to give you a reply.


Apply Via Phone

  1. To Verify TIN (BIR) Number the applicant can speak with a BIR customer rep to verify your TIN. Make sure that the applicant has the appropriate information before calling these numbers:
    • Trunkline: 8981-7000 / 8929-7676.
    • Customer Assistance Division: 8981-7003 / 8981-7020 / 8981-7030 / 8981-7040 / 8981-7046
  2. The applicant has to provide the required details to the agent and wait for the response.
