1. To Update Your Drivers License Record, the applicant has to approach the LTO Central Office link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer. or download it from the following link
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
7. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
9. An acknowledgement receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
10. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
11. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
12. If required, the applicant has to visit the office for the biometric/encoding process.
13. Also, wait for a while and get the updated permit from the office.
14. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Apply Online:

1. To Update Your Driver’s License Record, the applicant has to make the application online via link
2. If the applicant is a new user, the applicant has to click the “REGISTER NOW” button.
3. Read all the terms and conditions and click the “Yes I accept” button. Then, enter the captcha code and finally click the “Next” button.
4. Select the registration type and click the “Next” button.
5. Fill in the personal details, contact number, citizenship, and type of license and click the “Submit” button.
6. The verification link is sent to the given email ID, using the link the applicant has to create the password.
7. Now move on to the login page and enter the email, password, and click the “Sign in” button.
8. The applicant has to select the update option from the list.
9. Enter all the updating details and click the “Submit” button.
10. Upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
11. Pay the fee online mode and click the “Submit” button.
12. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
13. Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number or in the portal by login.
14. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
15. If required, the applicant has to visit the office for the biometric/encoding process.

• Any holder of a driver's license needs to keep the correct information in the driving record. If any changes in the record, the person needs to update it.

• The only difference is that there are certain LTO requirements and limitations that are somewhat different.
• The list of requirements for getting a pro driver's license is longer and stricter because of the higher number of vehicle types that they can drive, and just renew the license before it expires to continue driving.
