Philippines - Apply for Passport Authentication


Procedure

Apply by Email:

  1. To Apply for Passport Authentication, the applicant has to approach the DFA Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) link
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
  3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned office email address.
  7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed Consular fee is USD 25 to be paid in Philippine Peso or around PHP 1,200.
  8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  9. An acknowledgment receipt will be provided. Please save it for future reference.
  10. Then the application will be processed further.
  11. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  12. The applicant will receive the passport through mail or by visiting the office.
  13. This entire process can be completed within 4 weeks or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

  • Birth/Marriage/Death Certificate, Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR, Advisory on Marriage and/or Negative Records)

  • For Elementary and High School Level (Form-137 and Diploma)
  • For Technical and Vocational Courses (TOR and Diploma/National Certificate)
  • For State Colleges and Universities (TOR and Diploma)
  • For Private/Local Colleges and Universities (TOR and Diploma)


  • Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) document/s
  • Medical Certificate/s
  • Civil Aviation Authority (CAAP) issued document/s
  • Driver’s License
  • Certificate of Employment/Training/ Seminars/ Baptismal Certificates and other documents issued by a private entity
  • Special Power of Attorney/ Affidavit of Consent/Advice, Joint Affidavit, etc.
  • Memorandum of Agreement/Memorandum of Understanding/any other form of contract
  • Court Document/s
  • Immigration Record/s
  • DSWD Clearance
  • Police Clearance/Sundry
  • Business Registration and Other Documents issued by a Government Agency (e.g. SEC, DTI, BIR, SSS, Municipal Business Permit & Licensing Office, etc.)

  • The applicant must be above 18 years.
  • The applicant must be free from criminal records




Fees

New / Renewal

  • Regular – Php 950.00
  • Expedite – Php 1,200.00
  • Penalty for Lost and Mutilated ePassport – Php 350.00




Validity

  • The Philippine passport has a ten-year validity period, for those issued to Filipinos 18 years or older.
