1. To renew your passport, you must visit a Department of Identifications office.
2. Complete an application and submit it together with these documents:
   1. Current identity card
   2. Expired passport
   3. Certificate of tax compliance
   4. For minors:
      Permission issued by the Court of Peace or judicial leave issued by the Court of Children and Adolescents
      Parental Identity Card in force
3. Pay the application fee.
4. It will take about 22 days for your application to be processed.

You may use the link provided under "Office Locations & Contacts" to get in touch with the nearest Paraguayan Embassy in the country you are currently staying. The Embassy's consular service section will process your request to renew your passport.
