For applicants who are 18 years old or older:

1. Applicants and their witnesses who must also be at least 18 years old must go to the Civil Registry Office.
2. Complete an affidavit.
3. The couple and their witnesses must present their identity cards.

For applicants who are between the age of 16 and 17:

1. Applicants, their parents and their witnesses who must be at least 18 years old must go to the Civil Registry Office.

For applicants who are between the age of 14 and 15:

1. Applicants, their parents and their witnesses who must be at least 18 years old must go to the Civil Registry Office.

Additional Requirements:

• For applicants who were previously married:
  • Submit a photocopy of the Final Judgment of Divorce
  • Submit the marriage certificate copy with marginal reference to absolute divorce.
• For widowers:
  • Death certificate of former spouse
• For applicants who have children before marriage:
  • Birth certificate of the child
• Foreign marriage:
  • Apostille or legalized
  • Certificate of life and residence
  • Photocopy of identification of the parties
  • Corresponding stamp
