1.) The applicant must personally report to the office.

2.) He must fill up the application form.

3.) The form must be submitted along with all other required documents. The copy of the Driving License must be attested by the Embassy of the issuing country and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office.

4.) The applicant must do the eye test and pay necessary fees before issuance of the Omani Driving License.

1. License exchange form bearing the sponsor's signature and stamp.
2. A copy of the passport and residence permit.
3. The original and a copy of the driving license.
4. Blood group certificate.
5. The foreign license must have been issued at least one year back.

A foreign tourist who holds a valid driving license from his own country or an international driving license can use those while in Oman for 3 months. If the individual wishes to stay for a longer period he may opt to exchange his foreign driving license to an Omani License.
