People Authorized to obtain a Death Certificate:

• The closest relatives to the deceased.
• An adult who is the closest relative of the deceased and who was present at the death.
• An adult who shared the same accommodation with the deceased if the death occurs in that same accommodation.
• The sheikh or chief of the district.
• The doctor who checked the deceased.

• No fees for new issuance (for first time).
• Copy of Original: 1 RO
• Damaged/lost: 5 RO
