1. To apply for Hostel License in Odisha, the applicant has to approach the nearest Municipal corporation in their area.
2. Get the application form from the executive officer in the Municipal Corporation.
3. Fill up the application form correctly without any mistakes.
4. Please make sure you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the application form along with the required documents.
6. After submitting the application form, pay the applicable fees as per the instructions.
7. After successful payment, the applicant will receive a transaction number to the registered mobile number.
8. Upon the transaction number, the applicant can check the status of the application.

1. To apply for Hostel License in Odisha, the applicant has to visit the official web page of Department of Housing & Urban Development.
2. Use the following link to apply for Hostel License : Online Licence
3. Select Trade License option under quick services option.
4. Now the applicant has to click on the concerned district from the drop down menu.
5. Select the appropriate municipality from the list of ULB.
6. Click on "Apply Online for Trade License" option.
7. Fill up the application form along with necessary details.
8. The submitted online application will be processed by the concerned area Health Inspector.
9. The health inspector will submit the inspection report to the municipal corporation secretary.
10. Pay the required amount of fees as per the instruction.
11. You can check the status of the application by clicking on ULD Odisha Portal.
12. Once the status is completed, the applicant can download the license from Odisha ULB portal.
