Procedure

Apply In-PersonEdit

  1. To obtain duplicate vehicle fitness certificate in Odisha the applicant has to approach the RTO office of the area.
  2. Information related to the RTO offices and permit issuing state/regional transport authorities can be obtained from the “Office Locations and Contacts” Section of this page.
  3. Application for duplicate certificate can be made in application no. C.F.A
  4. Application no. C.F.A can be downloaded from following link: C.F.A Form
  5. Application form can also be obtained from the RTO office.
  6. It should be filled as instructed.
  7. Please make sure you have all the documents that are listed down the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  8. Present the completed application forms in one of the counter and pay the appropriate fee where the officials would start processing your application.
  9. The RTO testing station should fill duplicate form and upon inspection give the original copy to the driver / owner.

Apply online via State PortalEdit

  1. You can also apply for duplicate vehicle fitness certificate online via state portal: state portal
  2. Select the online services tab from the web site page.
  3. From the dropdown menu select “Dealer Point Registration”
  4. Once you select the option you will be redirected to sarathi portal: Sarathi portal
  5. Further you can follow the instructions as explained below online application via national portal.
  6. You can also apply online directly via national portal page as explained below.

Apply Online via National Portal - Odisha Apply for Duplicate Vehicle Fitness Certificate (FC) Online with Images

  1. You can also apply for duplicate of vehicle fitness certificate in Odisha through the national portal.
  2. The following link will give you access to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India: Vahan Citizen service
  3. From the dropdown menu of apply online services on the website select the “vehicle related services” option
  4. Once you select the vehicle related services, you will be redirected to the page, select “other states” option.
  5. Enter Valid Vehicle Registration Number and click on Proceed
  6. You will be redirected to the page “Odisha Motor Vehicle Department”
  7. Select the Service “Apply for duplicate fitness certificate” Service under Online Services Menu
  8. Enter Chassis Number and Mobile Number.
  9. Enter the OTP received and Click on Show details.
  10. Enter further details as per the form displayed.
  11. Click Submit and then Confirm and Make Payment
  12. Once Payment Done, Print Receipt.
  13. Book Appointment to visit RTO for inspection your vehicle.
  14. Visit to Respective RTO with required documents.
  15. In Case of:
(i). Payment Failure : Apply Again
(ii). Payment Success but Receipt Printing Failed :
(a). Wait for 1-2 hrs,
(b). Do step 1 and then Click Status>Check Pending Transaction
(c). Enter the application number sent
(d). Registration Number and Chassis Number. Click Show details
(e). Select the respective Transaction and Click Check to Bank and confirm Payment.
(f). If Transaction failed then apply
