1. To apply for the Adoption of Zoo Animal in Odisha, the applicant has to approach the Nandankanan Zoologal Park (NZP).
2. The address related to the Zoo in Odisha can be obtained from the “Office Locations and Contacts” Section of this page.
3. After visiting the office, applicant has to approach the authority who is in charge ofZoo Animal Adoption.
4. Obtain form from the authority in charge or download the form from here: link Link
5. Submit the form at the Zoo office after filling the details.
6. Pay the appropriate fees at the counter in cash/cheque/credit card/DD.
7. Collect the certificate of adoption from the Zoo officials.

1. To adopt a zoo animal, the applicant can make their adoption via the following link link
2. The applicant can select the animal from the list and click “Adopt Now”
3. After that the applicant has to select years and numbers of adoption and click “adopt now”.
4. On the next tab, the applicant has to enter their details and click proceed to payment and make the payment and save the acknowledgment receipt as a proof of payment.

• For online mode, the confirmation mail is sent to the applicant’s email Id once the payment is done.

Privileges of Adopting a Zoo Animal:

• Official Certificate of adoption.
• A plaque in the zoo at the entrance complex.
• Income tax deductions are available to individuals and organisations.
• The adoption fee is eligible for Income Tax deduction under section 80G of the IT Act, 1961.
