Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Pesticide Service Registration in person, the applicant has to visit the Environmental Protection and Waste Management Division of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

3. Visit the office and obtain an application form for Pesticides Application Permit from the relevant department. Or click here to download Application form
4. Make sure that all the documents in the “Required Documents” section of this page are available.
5. Complete the application as per convenience, attest it with signature and attach the required documents with the application form.
6. Then, submit the application package to the relevant authority at the office. The applicant need not pay anything for obtaining the permit.
7. Upon receipt of the application and all the required information, the Department will proceed to review and assess the submitted information.
8. On completion of the review, the office will inform the applicant through phone number or email to collect the permit.

Apply through mail

1. To apply for Pesticide Service Registration in person, the applicant has to forward a paper application to the Environmental Protection and Waste Management Division of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

• All businesses operating within the Province of Northwest Territories require a registration issued by the Government to use or apply pesticides, according to the Pesticide Regulations.
