An application for an air service licence must

• Be made to the Cabinet; and
• Be accompanied by such information and documents in support of the application as Cabinet requires.
• Cabinet may
  • Refuse an application for an air service licence; or
  • Grant it
  • in whole or in part; and
  • subject to any condition Cabinet considers necessary in the public interest.
• An air service licence is to be in a form approved by Cabinet.

Following are the procedures on how to apply for air service license in Niue.

Terms of air service licence may be varied during currency

• Cabinet may if Cabinet considers it to be in the public interest to do so
  • Amend or revoke a term or condition of an air service licence; or
  • Add a new term or condition in an air service licence.
• Before exercising a power under subsection (1) Cabinet must give
  • The licensee; and
  • Any other person Cabinet believes is likely to be affected, at least 21 days notice of his intention to do so
