The Niue defense and foreign affairs are the responsibility of New Zealand.

Others

[edit]

If you want your passport delivered to a different country from the country where you are lodging your application, you will need to pay a courier fee for delivery. The international courier fee will vary depending on where your new passport is being delivered.

International deliveries may be subject to additional fees and charges, imposed for example by the Courier Company and/or customs of the country where your new passport is being delivered to. These fees and charges can not be paid in advance to the Department of Internal Affairs, instead have to be paid directly to the courier company and/or customs by the applicant in the country of delivery.
