Nigeria - Request for Power Consumer Assistive Fund

Apply In-Person:

  1. To request for Power Consumer Assistive Fund in person, the applicant has to visit the office of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission.
  2. The address and contact details can be found in the following contact link
  3. Visit the office and obtain an application form for Power Consumer Assistive Fund from the relevant department.
  4. Complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections. The application should be signed and dated by the applicant.
  5. Make sure that you have attached all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  6. Then, the application along with the required documents should be submitted at the Commission’s corporate headquarters.
  7. Pay the required fees amount for the processing of the application, as directed by the officials.
  8. On successful submission and completion of payment, the applicant will be issued with an acknowledgement slip.
  9. Within a specified period of time, the commission will evaluate the application and it may require the applicant to provide any additional information, if necessary.
  10. In case if the application is complete and the consumer is found eligible for the fund, it will be considered for the issuance of the fund/subsidy and the applicant will be notified by the Commission after a specified period of time, from the date of the application regarding the approval.
