Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for renewing Teacher License or Permit in person, the applicant has to visit the State office of Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria.

3. Find a TRCN office as applicable to your location and visit the office to obtain a Registration form from the relevant department.
4. Complete the form as applicable with required details in the respective sections and attest it with your signature after completing.
5. Pay the required fees for the application process through any mode as prescribed by the officials.
6. After successful payment, attach the proof of payment and other documents as mentioned in “required documents” section of this page with the completed form.
7. Submit the application form and other documents to the relevant authority at the office.
8. After submission, the completed form and corresponding documents will be put into further verification and validation processes.
9. The applicant will be communicated through any applicable means with the help of contact details provided in application regarding the approval of the application.
10. Once all the processes got completed, the authorities will make necessary steps for the renewed license issuance process.
11. When the document is ready to be collected, the applicant will be informed to collect it by any applicable means.

• Any Teacher license holder, whose license has reached its validity expiration period, can apply.
• The license holder must have paid his/her annual dues consecutively for those three (3) years.
• The applicant is expected to have maintained a good conduct, credit units stipulated for professional development in the TRCN Mandatory Professional Development Manual (MCPD) and Regular participation in TRCN membership activities.
