Nigeria - Register for Pre-registration Examination for Pharmacists (PEP)


Procedure

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for registering for Pre-registration Examination for Pharmacists (PEP) in person, the applicant should visit the Education and Training department of the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria.
  2. Before proceeding to apply, the applicant should make sure that whether there is a current opening for a Pre-registration Examination.

  4. Visit the office and obtain an application form for Pre-registration Examination for Pharmacists (PEP) from the relevant department.
  5. You will have to pay a particular amount of fees required for the registration process, as directed by the officials.
  6. On successful payment, an application form will be issued to you. Complete the application form with required details.
  7. Now, ask them about the required documents and attach the documents as required. Then, submit it the official concerned.
  8. After successful payment and submission of documents, necessary verification processes will take place.
  9. If the application is found sufficient, it will be approved and an Examination Slip will be made ready in the name of the applicant.
  10. Further, the applicant will be invited to the office through phone or email to collect it by any applicable fees.


Apply Online

  1. To apply for registering for Pre-registration Examination for Pharmacists (PEP) online, the applicant has to visit the following online application link
  2. If there are any openings for examination registration currently, it will be displayed with the month of examination.
  3. And if there are no openings at that time, it will display a relevant message.
  4. Click on the applicable button to register for the examination. First thing you will have to do will be paying the required fees for the registration.
  5. You will be redirected to the Remita page where you will be paying the fees amount online. Follow the onscreen instructions, input the necessary details and make the required payment.
  6. On successful payment, registration page will be opened where you have to provide all your personal details, academic and internship experience details and details of preceptor.
  7. Enter all the required details in the relevant fields provided and click applicable button to proceed further.
  8. Next step will be uploading passport size photograph of the applicant. Upload a recent passport size of photograph within the specified dimensions and format,submit the form by clicking the applicable button.
  9. After successful submission of the application, necessary verification processes will take place.
  10. If the application is found sufficient, it will be approvedand an Examination Slip will be made ready in the name of the applicant.
  11. You can find the RRR receipt and other relevant details sent by remita in your registered email’s inbox.
  12. Also, the PCN would have sent your details and a download link for printing or downloading your examination slip.

Eligibility

  • Any pharmacy student, who has completed one-year internship training in a PCN accredited centre, can apply.
  • The applicant must have obtained and possess an experience certificate issued by his/her preceptor in their Internship Programme.
  • The applicant must have already registered as a pharmacist, provisionally.

  • The manual will help the applicants be prepared for completing the registration application and examination.
