Apply In-Person:
- To obtain No-Objection Certificate from Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission in person, the applicant has to lodge an application to the Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission.

- Complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections. The application should be signed and dated by the applicant.
- Make sure that you have attached all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Then, the application along with the required documents should be submitted to the Chairman at the Commission’s corporate headquarters.
- Pay the required fees amount for the processing of the application, as directed by the officials.
- On successful submission and completion of payment, the applicant will be issued with an acknowledgement slip.
- Within a month, the commission will evaluate the applicant and it may require the applicant to provide any additional information, if necessary.
- In case if the application is complete, it will be considered for the issuance of the No-Objection Certificate and the applicant will be notified by the Commission after a specified period of time, from the date of the application.

- Tax Clearance Certificate for the past 3 consecutive years prior to the year in which application is made (where applicable)
- Certified Audited Financial Statements for 3 consecutive years prior to the year in which application is made (where applicable) or Statement of Affairs
- Copy of VAT Registration Certificate
- Detailed Resume of Promoters/Directors
- Five Year Business Plan
