Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for getting Oil Block Allocations to Companies in person, the applicant should visit the office of Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
2. The address and contact details can be found in the following contact link
3. Visit the office and inform the officials over there that you are there for making negotiations with the Minister regarding Oil Block Allocations.
4. The officials will guide you as applicable for the relevant process. They may ask you to complete an official format for application.
5. Make sure that you have all the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page, when you visit the office.
6. Follow their instructions and do as directed by them. Complete the application process as required.
7. Submit the application and required documents to the relevant official.
8. Then, the applicant and the Minister proceed to make the negotiations as applicable.
9. If they are unable to arrive at a considerable agreement, an expert will be appointed by the Minister/applicant for making the negotiation.
10. The expert will assist in making negotiations and suggest his/her ideas or proposals.
11. If the expert’s decision is found useful and considerable, it will be approved by the Minister’s office and a Notice of Acquisition is issued in this regard.
