Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for De-registration of a Community Based Organization in person, the applicant has to make an application at the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) Branch in the Federal Ministry of Education.

3. Visit the Ministry office with a written application for De-registration of a Community Based Organization.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Attach the required documents with the written application.
6. Then, proceed to submit the application package to the relevant authority at the office in person for further processes.
7. After successful submission, pay the cost of application and for the de-registration process as directed by the officials.
8. On receipt of the stipulated payment, the agency will start the assessment of the application and verification of the attached documents.
9. If the application and attached documents are found sufficient, the officials will proceed to issue the notice of deregistration.
10. Once all the necessary processes are over, the applicant will be informed through phone or email to collect the notice of de-registration and the CBO will be deregistered from the Registry.
